THE recent publication of Ahead of the Game: Blueprint for Reform of Australian Government Administration (the Blueprint) signals an important shift in the management of government administration. It is also a timely reminder for Australian Public Service staff to review their own career develop- ment and identify the skills they will need to move forward in the public sector.
